LuSplit provides the tools a group needs to track shared costs and reach a fair settlement - nothing more.

Groups

Create a group for any shared situation: a trip, a household, a family event. Each group has its own list of expenses and its own set of people. Groups are independent of each other.

People

Add people to a group. Each person in a group is a member. You can add dependent members - for example, children linked to a parent - so that costs can be distributed accurately.

Expenses

Add expenses as they happen. Each expense records:

• What was paid for
• How much it cost
• Who paid
• Who it covers

Splitting can be configured per expense: equally among all members, by exact amounts, by percentage, or by weight.

Balances

LuSplit calculates balances continuously. At any point you can see, for each person in the group, exactly how much they owe or are owed. Balances are clear and easy to read.

Settlement plan

When the group is ready to settle, LuSplit generates a minimal list of transfers. This plan reduces the number of payments needed to bring every balance to zero. The plan is a suggestion, not a transaction - no money moves through LuSplit.

Export

You can export the full expense record and balances at any time. Supported formats include JSON, CSV, and PDF. Your data belongs to you.

Offline-first

LuSplit works without an internet connection. Data is stored locally on your device. There is no mandatory cloud sync. Optionally, a future version will offer sync for people who want it.

No accounts required

You do not need to create an account to use LuSplit. There is no sign-up flow. There is no login. The app works immediately.
